CASSANDRA BIRON
LCSW, Clinical Director
Cassandra Biron (she/they) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, integrative mental health guide, and death doula offering creative, body-based, and joy-centered therapy and coaching. With roots in healing justice and over a decade of experience with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, Cassandra believes that joy is not only medicine—it’s a radical act of resistance.
Cassandra’s work blends mind-body psychotherapy, breathwork, culinary medicine, and trauma-informed care. Cassandra is especially passionate about gut health, spiritual care, and helping people reconnect to their bodies through body-based practices and meditations we co-create in session together based on your needs.
They hold certifications in nutritional and integrative medicine for mental health and have trained in both indigenous healing systems and modern psychedelic research. Cassandra also offers care at the edges of life and grief as a trained death doula, holding space for transitions with tenderness, reverence, and curiosity. She’s the co-founder of Your Morbid Friends, a death literacy company, and is an active community member in the death care space of NYC.
Cassandra works well with artists, weirdos, neurodivergent and the “too much” folx, and anyone seeking deeply creative, experiential care.
In addition to therapy, Cassandra offers short-term, focused coaching for people already in therapy or without mental health coverage. Coaching runs in 3-month containers, with built-in integration breaks, designed to offer high-impact support without weekly commitments.
